  • VE7WWW (Bill) from Kamloops thanked the NORAC club for use of the VE7RSS Repeater in the recent Kelowna emergency test. Kelowna emergency radio operators at the airport used the Vernon repeater to contact the Kamloops emergency center for relaying messages, data, and Winlink email messages over the air.
  • VE7DO (Blake) reminded NORAC club members that the first monthly club meeting after the summer break is scheduled for this upcoming Thursday evening. As per normal it will start at 7pm at the Vernon Airport Flying Club.
  • VE7RLE (Ron) thanked participating amatuer radio operators in yesterday's cycling event in the Salmon Arm region. 
  • VE7DO (Blake) mentioned that Vernon is being considered again for hosting the Iron Man Triathalon. Blake suggested that NORAC the club should volunteer for the event providing communications.
