If you haven't heard the VE7RLO repeater on Mnt. Lolo suffered some serious weather related damage in December from snow and ice. The tower with multiple links fell over under the weight.

Myles (VE7FSR) ventured up there this week and MacGyver'd the repairs.

He then printed up this AWESOME repair report and shared it with everyone.

Great work Myles!

KARC VE7RLO Repair Report Jan 2013

Original Email

Gentlemen,

Please pass on the good news -- VE7RLO is fully operational! It was a
long day yesterday, but it went really well despite some ugly weather.
A big thank you goes out to Vern (VE7VGO) and Stan (VE7SJK) for their
help in testing the repeater once it was back on the air, and to Jordan
(VE7OSX) for the loan of the Anritsu analyzer.

Adam, would you mind posting these repair reports to the KARC website?
Similar to the last report, I have attached small and large files so
people can choose between speedy download vs. decent image quality.

Bill, would you mind passing the news on to your email list, please?

I will likely go up again next weekend, to more firmly attach the "fence
post mast" so it won't rotate in the wind, and check to see that
everything is hanging in there.
