The Okanagan Trail Riders Association is holding their 2019 Grizzly Enduro (motorcycle) event https://www.okanagantrailriders.com/events?fbclid=IwAR18mNKKYZGOFTItYl7WJ-O5WbN826qTugBfK6hgUTw8ZHxPHZ4-TpSyUv0 at the Bear Creek Off Road Vehicle Area on 6 October.
They will have a number of check points, probably 4 or 5, that will be used to control the event.
They have asked for volunteers from the Kelowna ATV Club, Orchard City Amateur Radio Club and any other licensed ham that would be interested in helping out.
The job would involve being in position at one of the checkpoints to report on the riding situation.
Some of the volunteers will likely need an ATV and others can use a jeep or possibly a pick-up truck.
Trail fees would be waived for volunteers.
