VE7TRZ, VA7TEE and VE7KPZ are heading up to the VE7EGO Commonage repeater site on Thursday, October 18 at 1 PM. We need to sort out why the UHF repeater is not functioning properly... and then do checks and inspections on all systems before winter arrives. If there's time at the end, we'll likely also tune VA7TEE's mobile antenna on his vehicle to get ideal VSWR for the frequencies he uses most commonly.
We'll meet at the gate located here: https://goo.gl/maps/KtzYdg4qy1K2
If you'd like to join us, please give me VE7KPZ a call on VE7RSS 146.880- and I'll give you more details.
This trip will likely take the whole afternoon. Please be prepared to stay for the duration.
After the trip, we'll head to Boston Pizza for the pre-NORAC-meeting dinner (4:30 - 5 PM)... and then on to the NORAC meeting in the evening (7:30 PM).
If you do want to drive the road to the top, a high-clearance 4wd vehicle is required. If you don't have one, carpool up to the top with one of us.
FYI,
Mike VE7KPZ
NORAC Vice President 2017/2018
