Pack your radios and don’t forget your tent! It’s time for the 1st Annual (hopefully) NORAC Backcountry Camping QSO Party. The gathering is to take place 10 May to 12 May 2024 at Grizzly Lake campground. The event will consist of campfires (hopefully), good company, HF QSO’s in a quiet environment, fishing, camping and whatever other camping activities key your rig. Bring your family, bring your friends, bring TImBits for the chipmonks, and enjoy the beautiful B.C. outdoors.
Grizzly Lake is accessed Aberdeen Forest Service Road and is reachable via Lavington and Lake Country. The roads are maintained Forest Service Roads so modified off road vehicles are not required. It is however a FSR road so a vehicle with some off pavement ability is highly recommended. There are outhouses on site but outside that, this is off grid camping.
