Support Your Parks
This event happens seasonally, on the 3rd full weekend of the month (Saturday & Sunday UTC). These are 'activity weekends' where the main purpose is to get out in the parks, and have as much fun as possible.
Winter - 3rd Full Weekend of January.
Spring - 3rd Full Weekend of April.
Summer - 3rd Full Weekend of July.
Autumn - 3rd Full Weekend of October.
Annual Plaque Event
The first annual plaque event was in 2018 when N3VEM and K0ATZ decided to sponser a plaque each - one for hunters and one for activators. The event was very successful, so after the first year, we extended sponsorship opportunities and made a larger selection of plaques available. This event happens in conjunction with Summer Support Your Parks weekend. More information on this event is available from the "Plaque Event" option in the menu.
For us in BC, this means POTA hunting and activating from 5 PM Pacific time this Friday July 14 to 5 PM Pacific time on Sunday July 16 counts for the Support Your Parks and the Annual Plaque Event.
